Pilates mixed with functional training aspects to maximize movement capacity. Sessions include personalized postural and fitness assessments to create customized programming. We start with building a strong and functional foundation addressing aspects of postural alignment, motor control, muscle imbalances, joint mobility, breathing, and working from the core out. Myofascial release techniques are introduced here. From there we can progress to building endurance and layering on strength using a variety of tools such as pulley systems, kettlebells, and barbells. Inquire for details and we can find a location that fits.
The Gyrotonic Method is a unique movement method that addresses the entire person, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength, and movement efficiency. With Gyrotonic exercises, the joints move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
Personal training sessions without the use of larger pilates equipment. Sessions may be geared towards personal goals or simply just to keep you moving while having fun! Settings can be indoor (independently contracted gyms available) or outdoor. Tools may include but are not limited to bodyweight and calisthenics, climbing ropes, TRX, kettlebells, barbells, free motion pulleys, etc. General focuses include integration and awareness cultivation of the body's midline, breath, mobility, and all aspects related to your individual goals.

- Myofascial Release Technique
- Neuromuscular and Trigger Point
- Structural Integration
Includes biomechanical movement assessments, and a coach's eye view on movement efficiency for competitive performance or general training. Gain insight in identifying possible movement inefficiencies that can hinder movement possibilties. Topics covered and benefits include:
- A decrease in the potential for injury or discomfort in the joints (shoulder, neck, back, etc)
- Move with greater ease
- Gain insight into individual movement and muscle firing patterning
- Increase finesse and presence in movement transitions
- Improve body alignment by implementing strategies that allow for cleaner lines

FOUNDATIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING
Features consistent programming to build foundational strength in both upper body, lower body, and core. Reduce unnecessary injuries and aches with balanced and well thought out strength progressions that allows one to get strong enough over time to express aerial movements efficiently in class. It may not always be the case that only practicing the desired skill/movement allows one to reach the position or movement they are looking for. Train smart utilizing foundational strength training outside the studio in order to have increased readiness and overall movement capacity inside the studio.
