Pilates mixed with functional training aspects to maximize movement capacity. Sessions include personalized postural and fitness assessments to create customized programming. We start with building a strong and functional foundation addressing aspects of postural alignment, motor control, muscle imbalances, joint mobility, breathing, and working from the core out. Myofascial release techniques are introduced here. From there we can progress to building endurance and layering on strength using a variety of tools such as pulley systems, kettlebells, and barbells. Inquire for details and we can find a location that fits.

FOUNDATIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING
Features consistent programming to build foundational strength in both upper body, lower body, and core. Reduce unnecessary injuries and aches with balanced and well thought out strength progressions that allows one to get strong enough over time to express aerial movements efficiently in class. It may not always be the case that only practicing skill specificity allows one to gain greater efficiency and strength over time. But training basic movemment foundations may help one to excel more optimally in his/her particular sport.
The Gyrotonic Method is a unique movement method that addresses the entire person, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion, and improving strength, and movement efficiency. With Gyrotonic exercises, the joints move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. These carefully crafted sequences create balance, efficiency, strength and flexibility.
